Gopro Hero3 or Canon T2i

Now that the new Gopro has been announced, do you think it will be comparable to the T2i? They are both around the same price. You can do so much more with a Gopro, but the T2i is much better quality.

Gopro Hero3:
-Doubled frame rate compared to Hero2
-Still small, light and fits in pocket
-2.7k 30fps
-Better image/video quality than Hero2
-Less fisheye (Better IMO)

T2i:
-Screen
-Focus
-Better Image/video quality
-Interchangeable lenses
-Larger size

judging by the fact that you're asking this question, you should get the Gopro.. if you're questioning which you should get, you clearly won't know how to use the T2i to its potential

depends what size ur after and style of riding. 189 hellbents will perform a lot better in the park imo. but afterbangs will be dope mounted with a pair of salomon guardians for touring doe

if youre going to try to get serious about filming, get a t2i. if not go for the hero 3.

This! But if you decide you want to be able to shoot some more serious edits get a camera corder like the Panasonic tm700 or something, just don't get a dslr!

if you want to get more creative with filming in different ways go pro, of you want a solid camera to produce quality shots then t2i

go with this, its a nice compromise between the 2 with added storage room and will end up saving you money on gas in the end

T4i flip out screen is going to help alot with skiing, I have t2i with flat screen and it can be a bummer.

I suggest buying a RED epic, slightly better looking shots then the Gopro, and around the same price.

if you are filming others all the time in the park, or are willing to set up shots, get the t2i. if you ever want to get pov shots or film yourself, and have something that can stand up better to the elements, get the gopro

cmon guys give him a break, we were all knew here at some point.

a hassleblad might work better for you. not quite the same quality as a go pro but a still a good camera if you're not that serious into photography and filming just yet.
