Beartown Ski Area... maybe 200-300ft. Plattsburgh NY. Most of it is all volunteer work, besides liftys and kitchen staff getting paid.

Either Blue Hills MA or Nashoba Valley MA, Blue hills is a bit taller but Nashoba is wider... I've also been to Mt. Crescent, IA during the summer but obviously didn't ski it

Snow Creek, near KC, Missouri.
This is my home mountain. If you want better, you drive 11-12 hours to Colorado. It's a pathetic slush fest that struggles to keep snow on the ground every year. But it's my hill, and I fucking love it. Talk shit on it and I will defend it. Sure, 80% of my day is spent on a raggedy ass, slow lift, but that's what skiing is for me (until I graduate college) and I'm stoked for opening day.

at least there were rails here when you skied it, I grew up here before there was even a 'park' of any sorts, no rails no jumps, only a downed powerline on the side of one trail that people use to use as a 'rail'

kingvale, ca. doesnt exist anymore. was only around for a couple of years. had 1 main handle tow about 100 feet long, maybe about 50 vertical feet. just enough to get a little bit of speed for some rails or a small jump. real fun though.

yes! thanks, now that you say that I think back when I was living there it was called 'horseshoe valley heights'

yeah man I lived basically the base of horseshoe valley resort since I was born until I was 10. Then I moved to Vermont (hence the VT in my username) for my dads job which was in the ski industry. The scratch in my username refers to the pairs of skis I had at the time I made my account- some rossi scratch pros 148, scratch ghettos, and then I won a pair of scratch steezes haha.

Now im out in Vancouver where I go to UBC and get to shred whistler!

damn I miss the horseshoe valley days though. night skiing all week, races and race lessons through 'mckenzie' and 'nancy greene' programs if I do recall correctly. I still remember riding up the main quad at horseshoe when my race coach Mike pointed out his new yellow salomon skis, and told my best friend and I there were tips on the back so he could ski backwards.... I was in disbelief!

And then the park was made at horseshoe, and the runs name was 'Pony Tail' back when I skid there. At first it was snowboards only I believe. and then the half pipe was made....shit that was a great time!

Pine Ridge, Ontario! Grew up skiing there. 220 vertical feet. one 2 person chair, and one t-bar that wasn't usually operating. No park but It was the best place to just have fun skiing! The ski patrol always helped the kids build jumps and find trails and stuff. Not in business anymore, some rich bastard bought it and converted the lodge into his house... :(
