Gaming addiction. What game have you been most addicted to

For me it was Mario 64. I played that like 12 hours at a time Apparently 22 South Koreans have died from exhaustion and dehydration play stuff like wow for days. Pretty crazy

Runescape, WoW and Diablo II. Bascially when I was 10ish-14 and had nothing to do with my life. Then I got friends and went outside.

WoW was probably the worst, I quit 3 times.

I tried to quit a couple times too but about a month later i'd be back. Took some serious dedication to dump that game for good.

4 years sober and proud of it!

Its so funny that you say "4 years sober". When I talk to my friends who never played it they laugh cause I make it sound like a drug addiction. But really it kinda was, you always just kept going back to it...

I finally got off WoW by selling my account to some kid. He ruined my reputation and made people hate me. But right before I sold it I gave away everything in my inventory/bank. He bought a character that only had stats and whatever gear I was wearing.

Runescape.

There was one week where I worked out i'd spent over 50% of the week on Runescape. So in that week i spent more time on Runescape than everything else put together, including sleep...

First it was Team Fortress 2, I was playing almost 24 hours per weekend. At the moment it's CS, I played like 12 hours straight on my last school day off.

Back in TBC on my server, my 2v2 arena team was ranked number 4 in the server. We got the special mounts and all that shit. Restro Drood and Arms Warrior was undefeatable in TBC.

When I was like 12, I played Runescape tons with my best friend. Then we moved on to Age of Empires III, and I still play that. Then I found League of Legends. Play that a ton, along with Minecraft/Tekkit, but I wouldn't call it an addiction, more of an avid hobby.

The first game that really got a hold of me was Final Fantasy 7.

Years later I broke my ankle around the same time that GTA San Andreas came out, so due to the fact I couldn't ski for most of the winter, I spent way too much time playing that - first GTA I got %100 on - still don't know how my gf didn't dump me on that one.

I'm pretty good overall though, I only play in the winter, and never let it take away from skiing and socializing - I'll only play when there's nothing else to do. This usually leads to only a few hours a week of gaming - probably why it took me all winter to play Skyrim. Still have a few things to wrap up on it, been thinking of getting back into it once I finish up with Borderlands 2.

i can't get addicted to video games anymore because i start to feel sick if i play too long

games i played the most were probably WC3 and Guild Wars. I don't know if i'd say i was addicted, but i played them for pretty extended periods.

my cousin and i spent one march break doing nothing but playing custom robo. didn't really play it much before or after, but we fucked that shit up.

but the one game i have always and will always play is smash bros. melee or brawl, doesn't really matter, whichever one you're more used to you think is better. i wouldn't call it an addiction, because i don't just sit and play smash bros all day every day, but it's the one game i can guarantee i will always come back to.

I play Minecraft, Ace of Spades, TF2 and Shredsauce pretty much exclusively now. Not really addicted, but if I want to play a game I'll typically aim towards those.

Back in like 07 there was this web game that was called Club Penguin or some shit, I used to play that like all day with my friends. From what I remember you just played random games and bought clothes and shit. Sounds pretty gay now.

Runescape is the most addicting game ever. Played that shit for like on and off for like 5-6 years mostly off but i still log on every once and a while. People say they were addicted to COD don't know what it is like to be addicted to a video game hahaha

hell yeah conquerors expansion! i didnt mention it but specifically, thats what consumed most of my time. Vikings FTW !

actually i dunno, maybe vikings were in AoE2 but i think they were part of the expansion. dunno.
