Best terrain parks in the east?

A magazine I read recently ranked Carinthia at Mount Snow #2, but I want to know if you guys know any other rankings? If anybody had like a list of 1-10 thatd be great, thanks.

IMO (in no order)

1.Loon (super sick, some decent booters, flowy, great rails and a few fun parks, decent pipe)
2.Mt Snow (lots of features, some good jumps, lots of parks, good pipe)
3.Sugarbush (good rails, okay jumps, creative features, flowy)
4.Sunday River (good jumps(for east), the JIB PARK :) , good rails, a few parks, kay pipe)
5.Killington (a few parks, good features, pretty good jumps, The stash. 22 ft pipe)
6.Waterville Valley (lappable, good rails, good jumps for TNF Open, fun parks, decent pipe)
7.Seven Springs (never been, looks sick, the Streets, good parks all around)
8.Sugarloaf (good jump line on Haywire, some fun rails, pretty sick features in general, pipe is fun (not too lappable))
9.Stowe (don't go often, but good rails, pretty good jumps etc.)
10.? (somewhere in NY? maybe...)

In order!

Loon y? cause they got a long park with tons of features

Mt Snow y? cause they got a lot of parks, no single park is as long or as big as LMP tho

Waterville y? cause they have a park that you can lap the hell out of, and by far the smoothest jump

then either Killy or Sunday
I dont really care about those two, just wicked fucking crowded and wicked overpriced.

Sugarbush had the best rails on the east last season, and they're making mad new features this season so they'll be a front runner to say the least, jumps leave a bit to be desired but lets be honest your on the east coast, rails are where its at.

Mt. Snow/Carinthia for a little more up north.

Seven Springs for the south/PA area.

Mount Saint Louis Moonstone for Canada, specifically Ontario.

I'm not saying Holiday Valley is the best park at all, but they definitely have a great park for what they have to work with.  If you're ever in WNY and want a solid park, hit up the Valley.  But for the best park, Springs is #1 in my book..

^^^ might be a tiny hill but deffinetly one of the top parks, especially for how short the lines usually are

When Tremblant has good snow years they have a super sick high level park , a medium sized park and a mini park . They may not have the most features but they generally maintain features very well and shape jumps very well.

Last year sucked

ski patrol is really friendly too, they love seeing you do cool inverts and often compliment your style after you do them

ive never been to tremblant so i can't comment on that specifically but this is so important in general.. so many places throw up a ton of shitty features cause they think it makes them more enticing but id trade 5 shitty jumps for one good one any day

there's something to be said for long park runs but look at waterville valley: that place is an anthill but theyre well known for their park cause they usually make a handful of really nice jumps and a smattering of dece rails

Ya if you catch Tremblant at their peak they have

3 50-70 foot jumps
3 20-25 foot jumps
3 5-10 foot jumps

and a wide selection of well set up rails.


which is perfect for me.

out of the parks I've skied in the last year:

The good

1. Waterville-had some of the largest jumps in the east last season when other resorts were struggling to keep some of their trails white. The features are always set up well and the park is so easy to lap.

2. Mount Snow- The park is just so big it can't not be near the top of this list. Feature set ups can be hit or miss, but overall its pretty top notch.

3. Killington- They have several parks, always have a fun early and late season set up. Lots of features and fun rails. Last year they had close to or over 100 features in the parks, which is respectable in a bad snow year. I personally do not like there jumps in the dream maker park. I would like to see a 3 or 4 pack of jumps on the trail to skiers right of the pipe. Dream maker should turn into a big rail line with few jumps.

4. Sugarbush- Park is segregated into its own small area with a dedicated lift. You can get alot of laps and watch the others shred as you ride up. Some cool features there, nothing huge but fun.

The bad and the ugly

Okemo- This is a place that used to have a respectable park. Its long, nearly top to bottom. It has gone down hill over the last few years. The park crew has an attitude. Features are very snowboard oriented. They think they are being "progressive" with the way they set some things up when instead they just make rails less trackable and not as fun. The jumps are bad, borderline dangerous. Take off shapes rarely match landing pitches. The groomers for this park do not ski or ride, which is fine, but there needs to be more communication between the park crew and groomers in this case. It seems the park crew does not know what they are doing or they just don't care. Okemo has the resources and potential to have a good park again if they get someone else in charge of parks.

Loon has the bootiest jumps,

Carinthia is 10 trails littered with features, my favoirite

And killington has tiny jumps.

Some people are scared off by all the orange fence but it's only to add color to the slope. disregard all signs, there's nothing to worry about
