Huge Pickups for Level 1

One of the things that make level 1 the leader of ski movies in our community is their amazing eye for talent. This year , they made huge additions to their crew, which made Sunny an instant hit classic.

This year they picked up:

LJ Strenio
Tim McChesney
Torin YW
Eric Pollard
Lucas SM

They also gave up and comers Pat Goodnough and Spencer Milboker some great shots.

Each of these riders bring a unique element to level 1's crew , making the level 1 team stronger then ever. I think Level 1 is right, the future is very , very bright.



What do you think of the Level 1 team's pickups this year? Is there crew getting too big? Who do you hope gets a full segment in next years movie? Early predictions for new pickups and super unknown candidates?

Logan's breakfast looked delicious and wholesome, I don't think it is to blame. Awesome movie, one of my favorites ever. I do wish there was more Adam Delorme in it though...

There are no huge pickups at Level 1. I have have the only pickup and it is a mid-size at best.

Just to clarify, Level 1 only budgets for 5 minutes of Superunknown screen time in each film. At the end of the season we put them all in a cage and let them battle it out. They're awarded time in the movie based on the # of seconds that they can stay conscious. Sig weighs 90lbs soaking wet. Logan grew up knocking kids out playing hockey. Its that simple.

Footage of the Level 1 fights can be found on the deep web, where millionaires pay big bucks to watch scrawny ski bums fight to the death for a few shots in a Level 1 flick.

Lol you're so grouchy, I thought you "didn't give a fuck" or something bad ass like that.

Just because I didn't think the rest of the shots belonged in the movie doesn't mean I have something against you or your skiing. There are plenty of other shots I didn't think deserved screen-time either, it's my opinion and I apologize if it's hurtful to you.

I still bought the movie and paid to see it at IF3, so there's really no reason to complain. But if a level 1 rider keeps making ad hominem attacks I may pass on next year's..

You better step it up this season Logan. This thread clearly shows that your lame "eggs, toast and hot sauce" sherade was subpar, and not worthy of the screen time it stole from poor Sig. Poor guy is probably washed up and broke in the streets of Sweden, crying himself to sleep while slowly freezing to death due to the lack of functionality the layering of three tall tees provides. I hope you enjoyed that breakfast Logan, because it sure cost a lot to poor Sig.

This year, I suggest you do breakfast right. Try frying up six pieces of bacon. Two pieces per sandwich, (assuming a sandwich density of two) and then you have two extra pieces on for eating on the side. Then also add a slice of process cheese to each sandwich. Also, ditch the toast, real men eat bagels.

Man this thread is amazing.

I really like when industry people and athletes come on here but it seems pretty unprofessional, that's the best part though cause skiing is about being creative and doing what you want and that's how the industry should be.

I wish it were possible to talk shit on on hollywood movies and have people like Brad Pitt call the haters fucking wieners. This is what's cool about NS is that kids can bitch and the pros can call them out on it. If you didn't like that segment don't buy the next movie.

Hardly an instant hit, good, but not up there with Turbo, High 5 or Forward. I liked Pollard's, Rainville's, and Imlach's (the abandon building part) segments.
