I'm making one with a friend and im worried it will be to small. right now its about 7-8 long. If its to small i can always just add in another 2x4 but idk if its good like it is. Can someone with experience that made there own tell me how big there's is?

I am an experiences estimator and I estimate that it should be around 12 feet to get anything like switch ups at speed

My favorite length is about 15 feet. But if i were you id make a second 8 footer so you can mix it up as you please.

7 feet isn't going to be enough for switch ups or anything bigger. 15 feet is just about perfect for everything, and it's not so long that you have trouble with slowing down by the end.

i have i 6"tube that is 10 feet long, it works well, it is plenty of space to do switch ups, but having one a few feet longer would be nice

i made a 10 foot rail and found it too short, so i made another one at 16 feet and its perfect
so id say to not go under 10-12 feet

Going with what Cotter said, I would say make two 10 foot sections, that way you can set em up for a down-flat, or flat down. You could also make another 4 foot section for a down-flat-down. Also, having the chance to hit a 20 foot flat is so nice.

i have made tons of pvc rails, when you goto like home deopt to pick them up, they usually come in 10 feet, i always make to ten foot rails but make them differnt angles so you can have a A frame, V rail Down flat, flat up ect..
All times are Eastern (-5)
