Aight. I got a cold sore a ways back. That is the first time I have known of getting a cold sore. Before that I would munch down on warm gooey pb&j and have no sores or anything. I have heard that peanuts can cause break outs. I think my break out was primarily caused by stress so I have been working on ways on managing that. I feel way more loose and less stressed now.

I am hungry as fuck and only have peanut butter bread jelly. I am about to go all out and eat a fuck load of peanut butter. Should I?

some people will tell you that chocolate can cause acne but that hasn't been proven. however there is a link between stress and acne. but acne is completely different from cold sores. cold sores are caused by the herpes virus.

yea the point that acne companies were trying to make is that any large amount of sugary or oily foods can adversely effect your skin's oil secretion.

I used to get cold sores so bad that I have to take Valtrex everyday to combat them. Stopped taking that shit daily, and haven't really had problems since. Appplying Abreva is key at the first feeling of one coming on. I can tell you they are definitely induced by stress, changes in weather, or excessive sun exposure. I highly doubt peanut butter has any link to causing one.

Yeah man. I think it has more to do than eating just one thing. I think stress can cause it. I ate lots of nuts and chocolate way before and up till I got the sore. I recently stopped smoking marjuana during the week and had a lot of tests and work that i had been doing with no marijuana = me stressed. I decided to start smoking more herb and I definitely feel way better.
