So Elan has come up with this sweet new technology called "TBT" standing for Triple Base Technology I believe. And basically the tip and tail have a sort of concave on the sides so that only the middle part of the ski comes into contact with the snow, supposedly reducing edge catch and providing for safe landings/takeoffs. I just find this really interesting and I want to hear your guy's thoughts.
Here's a link to a video that explains it visually: http://www.elanskis.com/us/technology/tbt.html
