i bet somewhere right around .01% of big bro truck owners actually need a big ass diesel. I tow my friends 3700lb boat, 5 people, probably 500lbs of gear, gas, equipment etc.. at 10,000ft, uphill at 65mph in my sisters 4runner. and its fine. most people i know with big diesels own it to cover in tapout stickers, or tow their lawn mower and a couple planks of wood.

My friends excursion is sooooo sick. Definately the most badass SUV ever.

My avalanche is pretty awesome for camping. Just fold down the passthrough and put a air matress in the bed so your body is in the cab and your legs are in the bed. Pretty confortable. And you can pop out the window to let in the cool airbut not get rained on(without wind, if its windy your soaked in the morning. So bummed its getting discontinued
