Hey guys, official Forza Horizon thread right here now that its out. ALSO, I just started a Newschoolers car club in the game. We can race against other clubs and share cars from the club. This is about all Ive been playing lately. Haha I got the rally expansion and I was ranked 95th in the world for a set of rallies. My love for this game is still strong.

I got it. Its pretty fun, but the depth isnt huge. Some of the rallies include bits and peices of the regular roads, so they arent all 100% original courses. And there are only 5 new cars. But I enjoyed it, there are 6 or 7 sets of rallies with 4 heats per rally. Mostly B, A, and S class.

it's harder to drift with the settings on... ? How could you have possibly drifted with things like traction control and brake assist on and all that? I just got horizon, it's totally different from 4. I think i'll stick with 4 though, i'm much more used to drifting and racing than in horizon.

Tuning is pretty much the same except for the more technical stuff like tire pressure, camber, toe, etc. which I didn't know how to use anyway haha. I'm sure though that some people are disappointed since it was a good optional feature.

And personally I've found that drifting is just as easy as in F4. My car of choice is a mazda mx5 miata or the nissan GTR. The miata is so much fun to drive and I've found that you can link up to 100,000 chains.

Is this game just the "Halo ODST" of the forza franchise, as in not as good as forza 4 but just something different?

Its a very different atmosphere than forza 4. Its really fun, but very different from the traditional forza theme, so many people hate it, but just as many love it. I have only played forza 4 a couple of times since Horizon has came out.

Pre-ordered the new one. It was pretty great for the first couple hours. After playing for a while honestly it got so repetitive it got boring. Even when turning the difficulty all the way up I'd still end up winning. I don't know. Probably better if my boys played it
