Its a ski company bitch? Are you kidding? I see shops worldwide flocking to carry skis from a company with such a sweet marketing slogan. Thats why I'm saying this must be one huge joke. It must be.

Another rider driven company.
He didn;t start skiing until he was 22 and he is from New Orleans. Kind of ironic and funny. But I ain't hating, best of luck if it's real. I think these new upstarts like Liberty, Armada, 4frnt, are like snowboarding was 8-10 years ago. There was like 200 brands at one point and then most of them just died out. We'll see. Oh, and stay tuned for my new ski company launching soon. The first model is called the 'Money Makers' and the ski brand is called 'Tycoon.'

Yes, I do know that its a 'real' ski company in the sense that they are making skis, but beyond that I feel like this is some sort of practical joke.

If Campbell was for real, I don't see why he'd take such a fucked marketing approach. My shop is all about the new school shit, but i can guarantee you they would NEVER carry a Ninthward ski. They buyer isn't even some super lame old dude, but they'd never put up a poster in the store saying 'Its a ski company bitch' or run their commercial with the others on the TVs. Too bad, cause they look like dope boards.

I agree (with mommy too that's kind of freaky), it looks like a sick company with dope looking skis but that slogan is just stupid.

why are you hating on a new ski company? these rider-owned (no matter how long they have been riders) companies are steadily becoming the future of the sport. it would be a shame to see all of these companies going the way of ingenous, and the way to avoid that is to have groundroots support from the core riders. for the twin tip market, i would say that NS is pretty much the groundroots market, so we should be supportative of the company until there is reason not to be. if the skis suck, let everyone know so they dont waste their money. if you dont like the company because of their slogan or the experience of the owner, its not fair to attack the company based on only that information.

I'm not buying into all these new 'core' companies. When I think of a rider owned company I think of little startup money so if they want to put out decent skis they have to rip somebody else off. Also they dont have money to pour into R&D to research different composites and shapes as a big ski company could. I just stick with real companies I dont have to buy 'Rider made skis' to be 'core' and capture the 'soul' of skiing. It's all bullshit if you ask me. Ohh if you want the super-ultra-core-newschool-ridermade skis pm me Ill cut you some skis out of 2x4's in my garage and you will so down brah

ice makes a good point, but i dont think the sport will keep progressing as fast as it has been without support for the companies that make it happen. maybe these companies will never become the next line, but they provide a good alternative that is made specifically for our niche of skiing.

most of them will be out of business in 3 years. all they're doing is eating each other's share of a market that's pretty fuckin small to begin with. yeah, ur all gonna say that it's blowing up, etc. well maybe it is, but not fast enough to support the 5+ independent jib/fat ski companies that just started. ninthward, surface, 4frnt, faction, armada, liberty...there's just not enough people to buy enough skis to keep these companies going, especially with the payrolls that some of these must have (athlete payrolls). should be interesting to see which ones go first. i wish them all the best of luck and will probably buy some 4frnts this year, but i think we'll all be lucky if these companies are around when their 2-3 year warrantees run out...
