how fucking sketchy/scary was it to do the 180 on to the concrete ledge and onto the rail against the wall? i would have shat

neither were that bad actually. the drop off on the far side of that ledge wasn't very high, so i just started off shooting over the ledge and started working my way back towards the middle. and 180ing into the creeper was mellow too: 180, slam into wall, lock in, ride out. i got that one in like 6 tries.

scariest feature of the year for me was that U wallride that cLo and i sessioned. 30 mph essentially straight into a wall was not fun.

biggest pain in the ass of the year was my ender, that was our 3rd session on it over the course of a 26 hour period, and the session that P and myself finally got a shot on. we hit it probably 80 times a piece, the speed was nearly impossible to dial.

i take that back, scariest feature of the year was the redirect that parker and i set up at a dam. 4 tries a piece and we said fuck it. it was the giant one in the teaser that he tries to switch.

yeah that seemed sketchy as fuck. just to tell level 1 too it absolutley pisses me off when there is a fall in the trailer and u expect it to be landed in the movie but it doesnt happen. it just grinds my gears

Logan , really sick seg , and good luck this year, hopefully u can get some pow shots to complement ur rail shots.

My question is, how many shots did it take to get ur opening building shots? Was it filmed continuously at all , or is it all pieced together.

In order to shoot the whole thing with two cameras, we had to shoot a fuckload of "scenes" and put them together. Because I wanted it to be legit, they do all piece together in a continuous line, it just wasn't feasible to run the whole thing with two cameras and a filmer with a blown knee (taking follow cams out of the question). The whole process took 7 days.

Such a great segment, one of my favorites in the movie. Creative editing with that awesome building feature. The whole thing had suce a fun vibe!! Loved it.

IMO hornbeck, pwhite, leigh, and shea flynn/chowens had the best segments of the year. I have yet to see MSP, TGR and TSP yet though, i'm guessing that Sage, Cody Townsend, and Sandy Boville will be added to that list.

The 180 toe jam on the creeper is the paramount trick in the entire movie, in my opinion. I commend you Logan Imlach on these few seconds of witchcraftery.

favorite people to ride with are my two best friends matt wild and travis reid. i like riding with them because they both snowboard so it makes me feel cooler.

within level 1: Hornbeck, cLo, and Parker. we always have a fuckload of fun even if we are all eating shit, and the mood never gets too serious no matter how high consequence the setup.

On the shot where you jump out of the building and then come back in, was coming back in a different shot, or did you use a banshee bungee or a quarter pipe to come back in? Its been bugging me ever since I saw it. Sick segment btw.

i'm not gonna give away everything to the line! gotta leave some stuff to the imagination.

i talked about the 180 switch 50 near the top of the page.

contrary to popular belief, not all film skiers blaze, me being one of the few that don't. nothing against it, i'm just not good at being blazed.

and the only woman that matters hates my moustache, haha.

Do your friends feel different riding with you since you started filming with Level 1 and have become more well-known? Or is it just the same old you shredding with them and they couldn't care less? Always been curious about this.

well they still constantly ridicule me and we've been friends since we were like 12 so the only thing that's changed is that they get kitted up in my old or unused gear haha.

Logan Imlach does not get recognition for his style. I think it is super unique and awesome I've never heard anyone mention it before. One of the best styles in the game in my opinion. The same goes for Shay Lee.
