It was a documentary on The History Channel, about Carnegie, Vanderbilt, Rockefeller, JP Morgan, and the business men after the Civil War. It was a great history lesson on business, entrepreneurs, and the risk associated with business. If you want to see it, it is on history.com

They invested in pharmas and all your other points to better man kind. At that in history there was a high teenage and infant mortality rate. So they advancing medical and sanitation were the social issues of the day. Einstien was one of the doctors you speak of who unlike most of his peers was able to escape. Many of these scientists worked with a gun to their head and on their children 2 cyklon b the chemical used in the gas chambers was manufactured in Germany by German companies. Were owe our jets fights our NASA program, guided missiles, b2 bomber,intercontinental missile, highways, to paperclip. If those scientist had went to the ussr we might be speaking Russian today

I'm not saying that they're are terrible or great. They have set up many charitable organizations but these are the same men who called in armed mercenaries to break up labor strikes

IG Farben basically one of the only major institutions in germany that was not bombed by USA....gee i wonder why? anybody who praises project paperclip is not educated or is just a sick excuse of a human being. all for the greater good though, right?

After all in a thousand year people are going think we're crazy for playing football, much like we think the Romans were crazy for having gladiators. But by today's standards they were fantastic businessmen who were ruthless to competitors and their workers. Regardless of the money they donated that is how they will be judged.

At the end of ww1 Germany's economy fell apart and was a great place to invest. After the atrocities of ww1 no one ever thought that there would ever be a major war again. Do you really think socialist Germany moreover nationalist hitler would let an American mess with germanys industrial might during the war. The allies at the time only heard rumors of concentration camps do you really think they knew what chemicals were used in executions and where they came from. They were not bombed because other industries such as guns ball bearing ect had higher priorities than a pesticide plant.

Ig invested in a company that held the patent for zykon b an industrial cleaner in the 1930, the company did not manufacture zyklon b it the patent was leased to two manufactures one being testa. Ig did not invest in producing zyklon b, the company they invested which they did not have a majority share collected royalties on the product. So basicly Ig got a check at the end of the month nothing more

thats note what my question pertained to. i apologize in advance for the labels im about to use, but its the easiest way to convey what i am thinking

your positions suggest you are one who stands to be either ultra-conservative or libertarian.  whichever one, it appears that you are clearly opposed to what is considered far left liberalism, socialism, or communism. that any ideas the stem from those concepts are entirely wrong, resulting in strongly polarized beliefs, opinions, and viewpoints.  don't you think that perhaps some of the answers lie in the middle?
