I just wanted some opinions.
I ski in the Northern Rockies and I'm hoping we have a good season. I was in the market for a daily driver before the season starts.
I basically want a ski that can rip through the harkpack, groomers, find some pow, and handle any dust on the crust. I have some powder sticks already and my current go-to skis are probably only going to make it half through the season this year if I'm lucky.
So, I was wondering what would make a better ski for a daily driver on a 5'10" douche bag - the 2010 Obsethed or 2013 Sir Francis Bacon? I don't doubt the integrity of either ski, I just want to hear if anyone has rode either of them. I had the 2011 Sir Francis Bacon previously and I've demo'd the 2010 Obsethed in a 179 in 2011, so it's been awhile.
I like going riding(and swinging) both ways and am very aggressive. The faster the ski will charge for me the better. Stomping whatever, keeps up to par with floating in the deep, and some snappy tree turns. And if the Obsethed, should I do the 179 or 189? Most every rockered ski I've ridden has been 182+.
I love you NSers and I'd appreciate your feedback.
Also, might consider a Moment Bibby, though I've never rode a pair.
