In terms of durability the FKS 180, being all metal in construction is superior to the Jester. I have had the Jester on my all mountain setup for the two past seasons, so park, pow dusting, and some mini golf and on the deepest day of my life. I've used the Jester in BC and Haute-Savoie. Although I haven't had to replace parts on the Jester yet, I haven't been satisfied with the Jester. They do drive the ski nicely and they are one of the lighter 16din bindings on the market. However I have had a lot of problems with the heel piece sliding back on the rail causing me to prerelease. Getting the skis on in powder or deeper snow with Jesters on was not too much of problem, where as I have hear this can be an issue with FKSs or so I have heard. Maybe an STH16 may be worth looking into a burlier construction than the markers and improved ease of getting on in powder. I'm mounting with the STH16s on my two pow set ups for the coming season.
