You're right actually, it's mostly rainforests, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan they're fighting in rice paddy farms and the jungle.

89% - 93% of the Middle East is covered by desert. These numbers depend on your definitions of the "Middle East".

Some countries that are having massive unrest and war in the Middle East are: Iraq, Lybia, Bahrain , Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Jordan, Yemen, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Oman, idk about Gaza Strip but that is a shit show too.


Yeah... I know a lot about the M.E and I find it cool to learn about it, I plan on joining the ARMY sometime after college.

Alright alright, MOST of it is made of desert, the other 7% is made of scrub-land, mountain peaks with some ice, and small oasis's.
