My dad and were both elk hunting when we got this bull. Top of Jughandle, I was the tracker and he was the killer. A long day ended up being well worth it when we finally dropped him. He fed my family for a while he made the tastiest elk finger steaks ever. Seriously ever. Then we never got rid of this but we never had it treated either so it still had bis of flesh and decay on it. Two years later my dog had passed away sweet lulu she had an amazing life and a lot of puppies. So I set this skull that she always wanted to chomp on on her grave where it sat for 4 years. After staring at it for so long and wanting to paint something awesome I thought of painting it for a long time
The skull took me two days to clean it was super super gross. Took me about 3 or 4 weeks to paint.
