I am working on a feature article for my school. It is about phone safety/ privacy.

My questions are-
1-What type of phone do you have
2-Do you have a password on your phone
3-Do you have bank account facebook email twiiter or othe social networking/private stuff on your phone.
4- Please tell me a story of something that happened to you with your phone that could of been bad(lost it,stolen) or any other phone related story that you want to tell me. I want to hear all your stories. Even if you think its dumb and not related tell me.
5- How has your phone helped you. any sweet apps you guys like to use for skiing or biking or any other sport. Do you have a really good app for something you do. Tell me anything you want to

I want your stories guys/pinks. Give me horror stories. Give me love stories. Just help me out please

Hey. I've got a Samsung galaxy apollo. I don't have a password but do have banking, email, Facebook and twitter as well as Internet. One time I was hitting a rail at the local elementary school, and my phone fell out of my pocket and I lost it for a week. Suddenly I get a text from my buddy, asking i I lost my phone. Turns out some lady walking her dog found it in the snow, dried it off, charged it and texted some of my friends to try and find its owner. Nice lady :) my phone helps me by letting me go on Newschoolers at school, and I've got an app called unicorn dash which is the shizz. Peace.

I've got an iPhone 4S an I have a password on it. I use mobile banking and NS but that's about it for password needed sites. I always think I have text messages when I don't. When anyone else's phone goes off I think it is mine everytime. My phone helps me with maps (maybe not anymore since ios6) and getting to places. Helps me with my email and helps me kill alot of time when I have breaks between classes

I dont have a password on my iPhone because if you lock it out too many times the only way to get it back is to reset the phone to factory default. Nothing on my phone needs to be so protected that I am willing to lose everything on it. I have seen it happen a few times to people, shit sucks.

Apps I use regularly, Chrome for internet, Bank of America, never had a security issue with it, MapMyRun and MapMyRide, they track where I go, pace all that shit. Great apps.

No horror stories but the reset thing with iPhones.

3. Facebook (hardly use it though), emails, twitter, instagram.
4. Just got this phone, but when I had an iPhone 4 I left it on the toilet paper roll container in the stall in the bathroom at a ski mountain. I was changing my clothes for a race in there. Probably 25, 30 minutes later, right before I was set to go out, I remembered my phone. Thank gad it was still there. It was a good thing I was already going to the bathroom cuz I done shit my pants when I remembered.
5. Other than texting/calling I mostly only email and browse the web, twitter, instagram, and occasionally fb. I grew out of playing stupid iPhone games a while ago.

Yeah i have a fucking phone. Samsung Rugby flip phone style.
Nothing cool on it. No internet or apps like that.
It calls, texts and takes pictures. Im on it a lot due to business. I can use it in the shower, drop it on the ground or throw it at a wall and it will be working when i pick it up.

Story: I was skiing on a slushy day. Hit a jump and the phone fell out of my pocket when i spun. Lost it for a run. Found it just poking out of the mashed potatoes at the end of the landing.

I have an iphone4 I have banking on my phone, but must put in a 6 digit password to access it. I also must put in a password to make a purchase if my phone has been to the lock screen.

wow thanx for the responses everyone. seems like many people have not prepared for the phone if they lost it.

more responses would be great from more nsers. you guys can say whatever stories you have about you and your phone.

and if anyone has a horror story of losing their phone please post it it will greatly help me!
