um no it isnt, not at all. The rocker 92 is just the 2012 renamed, its a park ski so yes they do fine. Most of the people I know who ride for Solly ride those skis as their daily ski.
I have the 2012 and I'll be buying the rocker2 92 next year again. They are my favorite park ski, Soft, playful. I'm not a park guy, I ski park like 1/3 of the time. They are my go to ski and they are the only ski it take except if we have some pow.
Any one know wear I could find some 2012's? Its a bitch looking for them because when you type in ''salomon 2012'' it just comes up with all there 2012 gear not that pair of skis...
To OP, yes the new rocker 2 92 is the old Twenty Twelve. I love mine, way better build quality compared to the suspect, and they ride awesome. 8/10 would buy again.
I ride this ski all over the mountain. Park, woods, groomers, everything - and they perform pretty well.
These are some super durable skis. I bought mine used, one season old. They had already been mounted and I ended up mounting my own bindings on them. Long story short, I tried to mount the bindings myself and messed up a LOT. My skis now have over 50 mounting holes in them, but the skis are still solid. I've had and abused them for 2 seasons (rails, woods, etc.) and the only problems are one or two edge cracks, minor scratches in the bases, and some topsheet wear.
