Hi guys I have to make a choice between the thall (181cm) and the ar7(176). Just wanted to know which one would be better for my height and weight (Im 6'3'' and I weight 150lbs)............I am leaning towards the thall because of my height but i wanted to know how the thall would handle out of the park (I ski 80% park and 20% all mountain on the east coast). Thanks guys!
u should be skiing the 181 no matter which one you choose. t hall has a softer tip and tail while the ar7 is stiff throughout. they ski similarly otherwise. ar7 will be more solid on big jumps. t hall will be more buttery for rails. pick which one suits your style.
the thall is still stiff underfoot. still rips at full speed on groomers. it has a soft tip and tail but its not a noodle.
keep in mind, its a park ski. so dont expect epic flotation in powder, and it certainly wont be as forgiving as a rockered ski in crud. but it is very light and maneuverable, so taking the occaisonal lap outside the park in variable snow isnt a problem.
Alright guys thanks for the input. Im getting the 181 cm Armada Thalls, the 2012 Rastafari ones; thats the whole reason I had to choose. Thanks guys +k for all of ya
