I'm trying to figure out what kind of suffix I want for my email.
My site is going to be TijmenDal.com (because my last name is too long), but I'm trying to figure out what I want before the @.
Contact@
Info@
Tijmen@
TheBoss@
etc...
Hadn't quite figured out yet if I wanted to use it for personal use too, but I think I'll just stick to my gmail for my friends.
What do you guys have or what would you suggest?

I use gino@ginotroian.com as my personal email and contact@ginotroian.com for serious stuff

contact or info for general stuff. List it on your website/business cards as the goto for general inquiries.
Then use your first name for your "personal" email. Even if you're a one man show, replying to people as Tijmen vs contact/info will give them the feeling that they're talking to THE MAN and that you care about your future clients personally. contact/info can be hard to relate to as a person!

Yeah, agree with this. It's just that I'm not sure I see the added value for a personal email address linked to my site. It's cool of course, but such a hassle to get your new email out there...

true. You can use tijmen@ for your cards too I guess, gets it out some more. Just keep contact or info published on your site and have submit forms link to it, spambots will eventually get a hold of it
