Could be specific to my experience and my school:
1. College only lasts for freshman year
Meeting people all the time, living in a dorm, trying to get into open parties, rushing/pledging a frat, going out every thurs/fri/sat, taking huge lecture classes, gossip, etc. Freshman year felt so much like the typical college experience that everyone remembers. But by the time your a sophomore -> senior you just feel like student who dabbles in the college life (ie meeting freshman, occasionally going to big parties/class, eating on campus, etc but really you just have your own group of friends and focus on your own shit)
2. Your better off not going to class
Your way more productive going to the library and skimming the textbook/powerpoint/notes. You learn so much better and quicker and don't have to wake up and walk to campus and listen to material that won't even be on the test.
3. Most people had a way more sheltered upbringing than you
4. Almost no one ever dates in a traditional sense at college, everyone hooks up, everyone is looking to 'hook up' when they're going out
5. You don't learn much
Almost all of college is self-study. You cram for a test, get a grade, and forget everything. Most of your classes fill meaningless requirements
6. Almost everyone you meet is extremely self-focused, ie how can I pass my test, how can I get fucked up tonight, how can I get into this party, how can I build my resume, who can I meet that will fuck me or help me get laid or make me cool.
7. Few people watch TV, movies, staysup to date on the news or cares about much outside of their own college world
