Can you believe Anon is getting into skiing. The just signed Pollard, TJ Schiller, Michelle Parker and Banks Gilberti. How sick is that. Their goggles are cool as shit and now they're coming out with glasses.

yeah anon might be owned by burton (as a company) but they're still just a goggle company whose main interest is signing good riders period.

ya, fuck burton, anon and every other snowboard company encroahcing on our wonderful niche. they should keep their big wallets and deep pockets out of skiing. we dont need them sponsoring our videos, competitions and riders. FUCK THEIR MONEY!

why does everyone consider them a 'snowboard' brand...because they sponsor snowboarders, because they were started by a snowboard company...there a goggle company.
have you ever stop to think that they may of actually thought about signing skier all a long, they may have just wanted to start out small and build up.
They are not a snowboard company, just like how sessions is not a 'snowboard' company, there an outerwear company.

so why dont you call spy, electric, oakley and all the other companies who make goggles and sponsor skiers and snowboarders bad too. anon is only doing what those companies already do. and by the way everything that snowboarders do, their steeze, their movies and everything elsee is so much better than skiing. it's good that they are starting to notice the steeze in skiing

^that's a really good point, I mean electric untill like this year was hardcore snowboarding, oakley and spy are both big into snowboarding also, I have no problem at all w/ anon getting into skiing, it doesn't matter if they have anything to do w/ snowboarding cuz all goggle companies do

all else aside. anon makes sick goggles. the whole core snowboarders against burton; and skiers at snowboarders thing is just too petty. everyone keeps calling on shit about anon just sponsoring skiers to get a piece of cash from the skiing industry but look at there team-- lot of sick up-and-comers.... they're going from a totally grassroots position and I think it's awesome. but with all that said, i'll say what i first said again: all else aside anon makes the best goggles I've ever used.

Typical snowboard cock suck attitude! Anon is owned by Burton. Sure, they want to make 'cool goggles.' I am really sure that is what the owner had in mind, that owner now is Jake Burton. Oh, in the new Burton ad in transworld it is a collage of images but one sign put displayed prominently says, 'Never Ever Ski.' Fuck Sims, fuck Burton, and fuck all those bullshit two faced snowboard companies that think they are the cat;s meow. They try to make money of putting skiing down, and on the other hand they try and get money from the growing popularity of skiers. Don't buy into it, support SKIER companies, just like the snowboard companies preached to their own so many years ago. Teach them a lesson!

Oh and WillBrown, to your point. Spy, Electric, and Oakley support skiers. They, unlike Burton, Sims, etc don't bash it in the Snowboard mags, and then try to love it in the Ski mags. I support companies that support everyone, not two faced bullshitters.

jesus.....soo many ignorant people hate on anon cuz they think its cool to bash snowboarding and be core....well....anon's team manager is a skier...always has been always will be....every goggle company sponsors riders and skiers....and the only affect burton has on anon is funding.....it means that they have the money to make a quality product........and the site with skiers is coming.....there was a big shoot for anon with all skiers in hood this summer....and all the new media will be up with time...so quit your bitchen!

This is not my point. My point is responsibility. Of course Anon team manager is a fucking skier, what do you think he is going to be, a snowblader. His job is to make Anon more visible in the Ski industry. This will make more money for Anon, (which is no doubt a cool goggle), that will in turn go to the company that ownes it, (Burton), that then spends the money in their skier bashing ads. You have to think where your money ends up at the end of the day. And it's NOT in Anon;s pocket, it's in Burtons. Just like if you buy a Mountain Dew. It's a seperate company from Pepsi, but when you buy one the money goes to Pepsi. So you better be happy with the companies involved. Anon=Good Goggle and No Corperate Responsibility or history of supporting skiing. Oakley,Spy,Etc= Good Goggles with a history of supporting skiing. HMMM, I am a skier. Which goggle should I buy. Enough with this, 'oh poor Anon, stop hating on them, they are so cool.' Good. I am not hating on Anon, I am hating on the bullshit coperate greed monster that ownes them, Burton. And until Burton decides to stop being fucking dickheads with the money they get from their other ventures like Gravis, Anon etc. Then I will choose not to buy their stuff. Nuff said!

what the fuck is everyones problem where is the love... skiers and snowboarders alike are all out there to have fun and do there thing whether its on one board or two. Burton revolutionized the snowboarding industry when they were just starting out... now they created another branch of their company anon to sponser skiers and riders, whats the big deal, everyone bitches about stuff like that so they can seem all hardcore and shit but really its just a freestyle company promoting snow sports. Skiers who bash snowboarders all the time are just pieces of shit with nothign to do who would rather talk shit then jsut ski

I like snowboarding. I watch the video's and I buy the magazines. For the fucking tenth time, it's the bashing that I don't like. Not by snowboarders, or the culture etc. But by Burton in their ads. Go look in a mag right now. They are not getting into it for skiing's sake, they are getting into it for money. Nothing to do with trying to be core or whatever. Who cares about that. I just think they are hypocritical and that makes for me not supporting them.

blacktout if you are that in to snowboarding then you would know that they are not bashing what the 'newschool' community is doing. They are bashing the 'Joe Skiier'. The weekend warrior: fuck snowboarding guy, the one that does backsflips of the rock under the chair so people will hollar at him. People have love for people that show the love back.Skiiers for the most part have not shown that love to snowborders and that is why these ads have started. Seriously get over the ads, there is really no point in being angry about them, its a waste of time.
