how can i decreas the quality of an image so that i can post it?

We currently have no way of automatically resizing images upon submission. For now you will have to use something like photoshop, paintshop pro or the gimp.
New NS IT guy.

also i have seen other pictures that are above a mb how can i post one that size?

put it into paint, and get rid of the parts of the picture you don't need
