I did my research and I am thinking about buying this ski in the 184. I'm 6'2" 155lbs. and wish to get better at rails and definitely step it up on jumps this year. Like the idea of the rocker/camber and I am wondering if this is the ski for me? Any advice=+k.
I would definitively recommend that ski. You're light for your height and the skis a somewhat soft (not too soft). I almost bought a pair but I got some atomic punx instead.
A friend of mine got a pair last year and he likes them quite a bit.
I say go for it.
i've never tried the antigens, but with a 90 waist and rockered tips and tails i'd say they'd definitely do better out of the park than the no times. I've demoed no times before, and those are real fun in the park but outside of the park a 76 waist isn't going to do you much good. No times are really light just cuz they're so thin, but i've heard the antigens are light too because of the bamboo. no times are quite poppy though, and rockered skis like the libertys tend not to have as much pop. there's also the issue of durability: surface park skis seem to be notorious for breaking. while i haven't heard anything bad about the antigens' durability, i haven't really heard anything good either. no one seems to own them...
they're kinda new, i know they just started making them last season. maybe they just haven't gotten a reputation behind them yet? i know pretty much all their park pro riders are on the LTE's most of the time, i haven't ever seen the antigens in an edit
so whats the consensus on this ski? was taking a look at it, have not ridden it and cant find any real good reviews about the ski itself. looks fun can anyone give me some good feedback...middle of season how are they holding up?
