I don't see why I wouldn't work, just packing a lip and getting adequate speed may be a problem.

Its really not that bad for your skis, the sand just does a real good job of scraping off the wax.

Hmmmmm... Then I will certainly have to try this! I have a pair of older head skis that I can't say I wanna dump yet, but maybe at the end of the season when I really can't find use for em haha :) I don't baby my skis, but I certainly don't shred them
