Ah thanks for posting this, been super obsessed with this idea lately. Anyone ever read "The Transmigration of Timothy Archer" by Phillip K. Dick? This book talks about the idea that the body and blood of christ during the eucharist is a reference to eating the "flesh of the gods" or the mushroom.

Mushrooms provide a direct religious experience to YOU, whereas the church has to mediate your religious experience. This is what we have lost touch with as a society and world. Without the mushroom, we are not sane.

If you found that video interesting or if you're a shroomhead/tripper, I highly suggest you listen to the ideas of Terence Mckenna. They'll resonate well with you. This video gets real good in the last 3 minutes
