I don't know if kris ostness or anyone he talks to is ever on this site but is there any chance we could show him there'd be demand for a re-release of his Wind Up films movies on DVD or something?

I just found my old VHS copy of clay pigeons and it's dead from being played and rewound too many times i think haha. plus most people don't even have VHS players around anymore. a DVD release of clay pigeons, tee time, and flying circus would be amazing... all those utah gaps being hit by all kinds of rippers like jon, candide, sage, pollard...such classic shit. i'd kill for a DVD of it all

and if you dont know what im talking about, maybe you have seen the bolero project, which is just a bunch of footage from these movies re edited to bolero by ravel... was on some helly hansen promo DVD a few years back: http://vimeo.com/15907608

I've always wanted to get my hands on one of those movies. First saw the old Leviathan thread ages ago which got me interested.

Bolero video was pretty sick, music choice could have been a little better though IMO.

I agree, my damned ex-girlfriend somehow lost my copies of tee time and clay pigeons (not to mention 13, royalty, the game, and some other ones I can't recall at the moment).

Kid you not, I have seriously been waiting 10 years to see this post.

Tee Time and Flying Circus were my objects of lust during my high school years, they were the ski movies I could never find for sale anywhere, and just had dial-up internet quality teasers to salivate over. Without your films, I doubt very much I'd be as stoked on skiing as I continue to be today.

But, not to thread jack... but a dvd of Royalty would be awesome. My VHS is falling apart, and that was one of the all time most well done vids I've ever seen.

Would anyone who owns "Tee-Time" be willing to type out the list of songs on it? I watched it 100 times, but lost the VHS tape. Saw the new DVD set come out, but don't want to fork over $25 just to get the track list.

6:13, rick wrobolowski risky flip ! sickest dub on skis and this was ages ago, fuck i still have most on vhs, but ima buy the dvd pack just cause we all know how good ol vhs tapes work. awesome post and response from the man himself !
