That helmet wasn't out by feb 2002. You say you got it out of lost and found. Then you say you bought it from lost and found. Then your dad let you go through lost and found to pick out what you like.
Let's make this simple. Why not tells us what resort you, or your dad now works at. See if your 4 different stories now even comes close to matching up.
Or better yet. If you don't want to then let's do an IP trace. And call the resorts in the area of your IP.

Hey I just got an email from my GIRO rep. Why don't you post the serial number from that helmet, so they can get it back to it's original owner. Because that serial number is part of every purchase because of warrenty reasons, and is sent directly to them.
It's the right thing to do. This way that owner will get their helmet back, WHICH THEY PAID FOR. Ok
