i find it really hard to get a good drift and stay in control i can only get it in the burnese alps

Forza 2> Forza 3> Forza 4

I used to be obsessed with Forza, gave up on playing with all my friends because none of them played.

The drift points system ruined drifting in Forza, before if you wanted to drift for competition, you got together a few guys and an opponent, used a course based off a real drifting course, or the closest thing you could get to one (a section of the track where the turns were perfect for drifting). The other few guys put there cars in each corner as judges, then the two drivers would head out on a side by side drift run and each judge judged their own corner based on things like speed, angle, and (depending on the match) how close they were to each other. Winner was chosen by winning 2 out of the 3 rounds of doing this.

It was so well organized on the Forzamotorsport.net forums, that teams were formed and there was an entire 'season' of drifting which was followed by a tournament of the best teams (just like the NFL season or things like that). Teams gained reputation depending on how good you are. It was crazy organized and all done by players. Once Forza 3 got released, it overran the old style.


Sparknotes: Drifing competitions were based on real drifting competitions, not a underdeveloped points system, teams were made and extremely well organized tournaments were formed. Forza 3 was released and it slowly faded out of popularity

Yeah if you can get into one they're hella fun, learning to tune your own cars will help you a ton too because everybody likes their cars set up differently, unlike circuit where it's whatever tune will make the car the fastest
