This thread is hilarious.
I've visited 8 different countries in Europe and lived in 3, and this is pretty funny to see what north American people seem to think about us Europeans.
First of all, I'm french, I don't think I hate Americans, and I honestly don't know anyone who seriously does. And I dunno, but I'd like to think I'm not a complete asshole.
Also as
Bmo. said, Paris is one of a kind, you cannot compare it to the rest of France, they can come off as arrogant pricks, but again not all of them are.
As for the hot chicks, the place where the chicks are the hottest in Europe is Lithuania, hands down. That country is crazy. Seriously, you can go to Paris, Warsaw, Praha, Helsinki, Tallin, Riga, sure you'll see some smoking hot girls, but also some ugly bitches. Try Kaunas, oh boy, 80% of the chicks there could be supermodels, that is unreal.
And to OP, who said the old people in French are the worst, I'd say try Poland.
As to the trains here being 45min late, statistics show that 10% of the trains are more than 5mins late, so, I guess you got unlucky.
I won't comment on the strikes, you're obviously exaggerating, but we do have strikes sometimes, the sncf could go on strike twice a year if this is a bad year, but there is a legal obligation for them to keep some trains going, so you'd still be able to travel.
