Need Help Making a Choice!

Hello, my name is Kris I ski in Southern Ontario.I am a type 2 skiier that skis everything. but, what I'm looking for in this future pair of skis is a ski that PERFORMS WELL in jibbing, park and tricks and I like (HITTING BIG CLIFFS AND weaving through trees!) I am 16 6'3, 170 pounds and my BUDGET IS no more than $800 without bindings.

you're a big kid for 16, that's pretty cool

i'm super jealous of your budget, you can get a much nicer ski than i can.

i'd probably get 4frnt switchblades 181 if i were you. unreal quality which you only get with a ski that costs a little more, good for pretty much everything as long as you stick to the east coast. not too stiff, not too soft, not too narrow, not too wide, and looks fucking dope.

On3p jeronimo, line blend, k2 Kung fujas, or moment pb&j for a good park performing all mountain ski.

It would be great for deep powder. Gonna be crap in park. Maybe check out the Rocker2 108. Alot more park friendly.

rocker 2's would probably be sick, but you'll like them for backcountry/pow etc a lot more than you will for park. the switchblades are also sick along with line chronics and BLENDS, salomon s3s and volkl bridges and kendos. good luck

honestly, those skis would be a stupid choice for you. they're a freestyle powder ski, meant to do tricks in deep snow. for what you said you're doing, anything wider than 95 wouldn't work very well. there's this opinion i always see in skiing where stiffer is better and wider is cooler, and for the vast majority of east coast skiers it makes no sense. i'm not really in a position to judge because i'm an east coaster and my skis are 94 and 95 under foot, probably wider than necessary, but either way that's as wide as you'd ever need to go to ski predominantly east coast, maybe some west coast once a year. anything between 85 and 95 will work for what you said you were skiing, and since you didn't mention the west once, i'd lean to the more narrow side: i/e the switchblades i suggested.

Line Sir Francis Bacons with Look Pivot 14s. Awww yeah. Or if you want a bit more park-oriented setup, then Line Blends instead.
