About to buy a pair of '13 salomon suspects: good or bad choice??

The suspects are a very controversial ski. Some say they are medium flex while snappy, and I've heard many say they suck durability and value wise. Salomon has fixed "most" of the problems reported since 2009. If you are weary on size and durability concerns, go for the largest sized ski. It is made almost identical to the skis used by the pro riders which have to be almost exactly perfect, so that's ur best bet. It could be understood that a smaller ski could actually be different production-wise, just because it doesn't new to be as tidy of a process as the larger skis that belong to people who are counted on to be going faster, bigger, an harder than a smaller sized person who is being demographed as a teenager whom which their body isn't completely matured. Just my .02 as far as that goes. I'm nt entirely sure about the consrtuction or production being similar or different, but it is a big factor in the case that the production could be different. ^intresting idea, but not correct, all production sizes are built the same, so it does not matter which size you get durability wise. Most of the team use standard suspects most of the time, but there are a few special models for the big events, but these are very limited, 1 pair per athlete.

I bought a pair of suspects last year and the edge started to rip out after about a month. i loved them while they lasted though. but i bought some 4frnt swithcblades and i LOVE THEM! extremely durable. idk if it was just a one time thing with the suspects or if its happened to other people too. definitely do some research though. dont want to have the same thing happen as i did
