Canon 60D bad problem!!!!!!!! help please!!!

Hey NS, so I just got my 60D and its doing this weird thing in video mode. 6 seconds into video shooting, it'll just stop. It will stop video recording save the video, but it says " movie recording has stopped automatically". So has anyone else had this problem Orr know a solution? Anyone with help will get 10\10 Karma. Thanks and have a good day

what kind of sd card are you using? I think this is usually a card speed error

What brand? What's the transfer rate? (It'll say somewhere on the card XXmbs or something similar.)

I don't know because it came blank, the guy just told me it as 4gig and class 10

So would getting a class 10 30 gig card fix it?

that happened to my t2i, i was using a 32gb class 10 card then switched to an 8gb class 6 card and it works fine. The card is the main problem

card problem for sure. they are important so don't go cheap on those.

I have a 60d and I used to experience the same problem, I'm pretty sure It's not my SD card either because I have 2 16gb class 10 cards one is 94mbs and one is 48, The problem kind of just slowly went away and I was never able to find a real solution but It happens with canon 60d's all the time.. Formatting your card is probably the best place to start though, it seems to happen less when you have no data on your card previously.

Mine did the same thing. Formatted my card and it went away (32G class 10)

I had the same problem. I just formatted the card and it went away!
