when did they change the dui policy for the initiative. it used to be if you tesed positive on a piss test you would not be alowed to drive, the blood test is what is going to make this pass.
420 is celebrated on the daily by one person or another here, as long as youre not ripping in the dorms they could care less. meet some homies who live off campus and it will be the least of your troubles.
As a washington resident, im really interested to see where this goes. The medical laws are so loose, that dispensaries are where many people get their product from. Having it in stores would probably show just how much growers sell on the side. I also like how you have to be 21. Treat it like alcohol and i think this state will see a lot of minor problems go away and start to bring in some good money to improve a lot of things.
legalizing marijuana would be cool and all, but decrim would probably be the best thing overall. I would hate to see the government allow production weed like they do tobacco.
Plus, what are all the badass kids gonna do to get high, because it's illegal, heroin?
You know it doesn't matter how many big producers get started, you would still be able to grow your own or get it from your friend that grows if you prefer that stuff.
that is the one thing that really bothers me...medicinal patients are also going to get a lot of DUI issues. as well as the majority of everyone who smokes pot.
legalizing it allows corporations to take it up which will bring the price way down from competition. Think about a j being the same price as a cig and how baller that would b
as someone who just moved to wa, that dui shit is ridiculous. i would rather be able to drive and smoke weed illegally than smoke weed, drive a couple days later and get a dui
You think it would be better if cigarettes were illegal? I don't smoke so I won't pretend to know anything about the quality of cigarette tobacco, but I do know there's a hell of a lot of variety in cigarettes. If you can't find one you like, maybe you just don't like smoking cigarettes.
as long as you are not swerving all over the road they will not test you for a dui. a DUI is mostly for drunk drivers and drowsy drivers who swerve and act recklessly.
no, I'm just saying the quality of cigarette tobacco is much worse than what you can buy in pouches. which is worse than growing it yourself. really a moot point, I'm just being a bastard. *kanye shrug*
well the article says 5 ng/ml blood. so there is some tolerance.
did a bit of reading and for people who don't smoke often, generally you will have less than 5 ng/ml 3 hours after smoking a moderate amount. coincidentally studies have shown that THC will impair driving for around 3 hours.
for heavy users this doesn't count, and they'll be way above the limit for much longer.
The levels of thc in your blood usually drop bellow 5 nano grams after 3 hours of smoking. it can be anywhere between 2-6 hours but 3 is average. When you are stoned it will spike up well passed 100 but it lowers quickly. These tests measure the active thc instead of the thc stored in fat.
i feel like for those that smoke everyday even if it's only like 1 or 2 bowls it will build up.
over the summer i was smoking heavily and now its only at night before i make some food etc. but i feel like it has built up in what little fat i have on my body. and im under 21 so if this passes smoking at the mountain and driving back is a no go.
I hate to dampen your excitement, but that proposition isn't really going to change much. The title of the bill makes it sound much better than it actually is. All it does is decriminalize possession of one ounce or less (which is nothing but a fine under our current penal system) and enable you to grow up to 6 plants for personal use. It will still be illegal to sell marijuana, and it will still be illegal to possess large amounts. Ultimately, it will do little to nothing to solve the biggest problems caused by marijuana prohibition.
