shit man that sucks, i wish there were something i could do to help.
but really, im mostly talking about the usage of the word gay. gay just works in ways other insults cant, obviously he doesnt mean road biking is man being sexually attracted to another male. its just a bit of slang that has created its own meaning as an insult to something, i dont know what that meaning is, but its different than bad, or lame, or stupid etc.. its like taking the word fuck literally, when i say, thats fucked up, i dont mean thats an act of sexual intercorse. so why the hell does the meaning suddenly change to insulting the literal definition when the word is gay? you can use any other curse word and its totally cool, but the second you say gay, you're instantly an ignorant homophobe. like you meant to say i hate gay people, instead of road biking is gay. why does common sense go completely out the window any time political correctness is involved?
sorry i had to explode on you, but ive been around way too many hippie college kids lately who just go out of their way to find some way to get offended by something, and its driving me crazy.
