Windells Winter Camp

Windells winter camp is a lot of fun.  Its completely different than what we offer during the summer.  With winter camp you are able to ski the 3 resorts that are on mount hood; Timberline, Mt Hood Meadows,  and of course we ski through the new year at Ski Bowl.  We get to focus on all types of riding.  We will spend some time in the park, some time in the trees and some time cruising pow laps.  Adult camp allows you more freedom, you get to hang out at the adult house, relax in the hot tub and drink some brews ( 21 and over) after a long day of shredding.  You also get to visit Portland for some sushi and enjoy the local bar scene here on hood.  Aside from all that we still have the fun activities going on in the evenings, our sponsor come out and throw gear at you and bring their riders for autograph signings and other fun times.  Overall a great experience if you are looking to get away this winter!  Give us a call in the office if you have any questions, 503-622-3736.

windells is the most unsanitary place on earth. i lived down the street for a few years and my girlfriend was a winter coach. if you like gnarly infections have a blast in the foam pit, if you like brown tap water have a tall glass, if you even go in the hot tub youll be plagued with STD's, and if youre over 16 all the male coaches/staff will be creeping hardcore. if all of this sounds appealing and worth the money have a blast its "the funnest place on earth." also tim windell is a drunk piece of shit.

I have never been to windells summer camp but I did get to go to one of the winter camps this past year.  I am an adult and I had a great time.  All the coaches are really cool and are definitely there to make sure you have a good time.  What was really cool about winter camp is that its much smaller than during the summer so it created a great "family" like atmosphere.  The local bar scene is great, you will meet some of the craziest/coolest mountain people ever.  My favorite day was definitely a powder day at meadows, we spent so much time shredding a foot and a half of pow.  Whats also great is that the coaches are local and know all the hidden pow stashes days after the last storm.  I would go again in a heartbeat.

But really winter camp is awesome. I went last year and it was alot of fun, you basically get the whole camp to yourself, and theres is alot of good snow. I didnt go to the adult session but it looked like they were having alot of fun and you get alot more help from coaches because there are less people. I have not been to a summer session but winter was awesome! I would recommend it.

i have been going to summer camp for 2 years now, and it was alot of fun. i would love to go to a winter camp, but in all honesty i would go to the summer camp, because your not skiing during the summer :P

windells is a huge waste of money, take my word, if you want to become a better skier go ski with people who are better and don't give your money to Tim Windell, "the biggest asshole on the face of the earth"
