Lights for filming night follow-cams

Gonna be doing a lot of night riding and filming this season. I'm looking to buy a light to help with some follow cams.
Has anyone tried this? I was looking at the rotolight, so I could still use my mic on the shoemount:

but don't know anything about these (or any other lights for that matter)
Fall back plan:
Mount an LED flashlight to my shoemount. But then my mic gets in the way...

Yeah I've been comparing that rotolight to vidpro's.
I'm just worried that they might be torqued pretty hard and rip the shoe mount off my camera.
Do you know if any are made to connect to your 1/4-20 on the bottom of the camera body?

you could always screw a long bolt in the front weights on your glidecam and attach it there, pointing it slightly up. They use 1/4 20 i believe for the weight bolts, or you can replace it with a 1/4 20 if it isn't.

I use a glidecam that I built. I'll add a light attachment and try it out.
btw, the new lens is SICK!
