anybody had any experience with this thing? Will it actually help on falls, or is it just a head thing?

well to keep it real I started being a Poser Poser. I dress and act like a poser, but i'm not really a poser. I just pose to look like a poser posing. you know just keepin it underground

It's a gimmick, the padding won't do anything other than keep your hair from getting messed up if you fall. It even says there that it won't protect you from head injury.

nah, i can see it helping in minor falls, where it wouldnt be a serious injury without the hat, but it would hurt alot. this hat takes out some of the hurt. and it would help lessen injuries in a serious fall, by allowing for a little bit of give. definatly not a gimic, but definatly not a helmet.





I still just have no idea how you can mistake your dick and a chicken neck, let alone not realize what you are doing. -manus

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

it's not a helmet, but I bet if you come off a rail weird and catch an edge or something, then fall and hit your head, it'll feel a lot better with that on than a normal beanie.

Im thinkig that like you knwo sometimes you smack yoru head on teh snow and it just like make syoru head hurt and have a little headache? It woudl get rid of that.

Have you guys heard of the new "helmet beanies" that have just been invented? I'm doing a science project on it, its actually sick. A British company called d3o (after the name of the material) has invented a gel like padding material that is soft and moldable, but upon impact or fast movement, the molecules bond together instantly (1/1000 of a second) to form a hard, shock absorbing material. Thus, if used in a helmet beanie, it would wear as a normal beanie and be non-restrictive, but as soon as you hit your head, its a helmet. It's not as effective as a helmet yet, but they're blaming the design of the hat (it falls off) for the unsafeness. They think they can make a pretty safe product once they get the design down pat (plus, the current design is ugly as sin).

Why don't you just wear a helmet? With all the options out there it makes soooo much sense. Skiing without one is just asking for it.

i tried one on when they just came out, they were really comfy but the padding probly wasnt enough to do shit, i didnt hit myself in the head or anything but the padding was only about a 1/4 inch thick maybe.. so if you want comfort i would buy it, if you want safety but a helmet.
