I've got a jacket from each company. I like both of them, though my Saga jacket is a bit more stiff in the fabric. The positive with that is, it resists water great!

I mean yeah i guess that's good if your in to that stuff. But when it really comes down to it you just gotta look at the the facts. Saga makes jackets. Orage makes jackets. It's not that hard. /notevenonce

if you would like to look like 10,249,294,943,000 other skiers (and sadly snowboarders) then go with saga.

if you would like to look decently authentic at you mountain than i suggest orage.

both great outerwear brands in terms of quality and CS.

i personally prefer orage because size xl isnt dragging on the floor behind me like saga.

but its obvious that salomon makes the greatest jackets (4xl reflex jacket is the fucking bomb)

I have a jacket from both and I love em both. The saga has more waterproofing but my orage bdog has so much more style

There both nice but what it came down to for me is my saga coat ripped in under a year an I've had my orage coat going on 5 years now

saga tends to be more of a shell where as orage is more insulated overall I think orage is a better product (ive had both).

It's a shell. So you're going to need to wear a hoodie under it. But I prefer that because I have more control over how warm I am, you know? Like, if it's really cold, I'll layer it up with a hoodie and some extra layers, but if it's nice I can just go T-shirt and the jacket.

Both make pretty dope shit, but saga is a little more flashy which is why I like them a hair more, but one isn't better than the other, both are awesome companies. (they make different products, Orage u have an insulated jacket, saga a shel, both still good stuffl)

Well if 10,249,294,943,000 other people ride Saga, then it must be pretty legit. I love my Saga Outerwear! Looks good, fits awesome, I have no performance issues with it. Plus the Guys at Saga are super chill, and always hook it up with preseason sales and other deals.

Saga is Saga. Orage is Orage. All the park rats at my home mountain ride FD. I love my Saga. I've had two suits since 2007 (I think) and they've both held up better than anything else I've tried to ride. I get cold no matter what, and the Anomie suit fits me better than Orage stuff. It's too wide and "puffy" for me. I've tried other suits, and none of them hold up more than a season. Why fix what's not broken? ha. Alright. Let the hate fly. EndFragmentEndFragment

Gotta side with orage. Had a pair of saga pants and they fit awkwardly to me. Orage are super comfy and fit GREAT.

saga is pretty dope, especially all the cool contests and extra things they do as a company (Saga U, pre order prizes, ect). orage also makes quality products no doubt, i just have to side with Saga cause my mountain is pretty much TNF and Orage, and Saga has some crazy designs.

Orage's parent company makes yoga pant. Indeed, they probably make butts look fantastic but come on. Their CEO used to work Quiksilver. I'm sure he skis everyday.

Saga is still doing it right. Constantly releasing new products, improving on previous lines, and pushing their own limits year after year. I support brands like that.

I've owned their gear since year one (Beaver Fur/Moss suit) and it hasn't failed me yet. Fits right, withstand the weather and who cares if other people have it, obviously they know what you do.


If you do yoga and ski 11 days a season, then maybe Orage is for you.

I have to go with saga, since Orage pants were full of tears after half a season, and Saga has held up so much better, only few tears on the first layer and stays a lot more dry than Orage.
Orage is alot more warmer tho, but you can layer up so I say Saga and it isn't so common as Orage where I ski.

saga is so much better than orage. by a longshot. it may be more expensive to am extent but thats because its better quality. looks cooler too.
