Doing an essay on how crime is prevented by law enforcement monitoring social media and need a relatively well-known example of such an occurrence where Police were able to prevent/incriminate people from information on their Social Media accounts.
The examples I've been using so far have been more towards the local side. Looked around the interwebs for about 40 minutes and the closest thing I found was the Vancouver Stanley cup riot, which happened in Canada.
Don't go digging around if you don't want to, but if anyone knows an example off the top of their head that may lead me in the right direction that would be helpful.
