One way is you would have to include communist and tea partiers in the presidential debat giving them unprecedented publicity. Second you would have a massive number of votes taken away from the republicans and democrats giving the other parties a real chance of winning Much like Ross Perot cause George sr to lose the race.

isnt the point of a democracy that the people choose the leader? why should people be left out because they dont fall under 1 of 2 parties? theres nothing in the constitution that states a 2 party system.

+K For this. The Democratic and Republican parties are controlled by the same corporate influences like Goldman Saches etc. and nothing will change as long as people keep supporting one or the other. Its quite clever actually, we have a Republican president (Bush) that screws us over so everyone gets pissed off and votes for Obama who then lies and screws us over just like Bush so people think they can solve things by voting for another Republican (Romney) totally forgetting the last one screwed us over. This way we never actually change the real power structure by all the two party bickering over non-issues.

Voting 3rd party is the only way to make a difference even if people will tell you its "wasted" Neither Obama or Romney will legalize weed or hemp for that matter, End the Federal Reserve or bring our troops home from all the bullshit wars and foreign bases. Unless we address the fundamental issues in our country it will just be more business as usual for the people screwing us over.

Yes it's not in the consitution but it's in the spirit of the consitution. The founder did not trust the people which is why we have the electoral college. I frankly don't blame the founder for their thinking, I shop at Walmart lol

I considered voting 3rd party this election but the candidates just don't match up with Obama or Romney. I mean Gary Johnson vetoed the most shit ever so I don't see him being very good at working with others and Jill Stein has next to no experience. It sucks though because they can't get experience if they're not in one of the two parties. It's going to take a while before good third party candidates trickle up to the presidential level.

I bet there you forget all of the Earth politics and problems, and really embrace our insignificance.
