Any differences between 2013 SPK 100 and 2012 SPK Pro?

Thread title says it all...

Went to my local shop to get fitted because my Booters have been destroying my feet the last 2 seasons. Before you ask, yes, I was fitted that time too, but apparently the guy who helped me last time didn't know what the fuck he was doing and no longer works at my shop...awesome! Anyway, this time I was recommended some SPK 100s, as I have a fat brick of a foot and I told them I was looking for a good compromise of (relative) comfort and performance. I'm sick of going in the lodge every hour or two to massage my feet haha. I was considering getting some of last year's SPK Pros online if there is no significant difference. Again, before anyone starts hating on me, the site I would be getting them from, Skis.com, is owned by my local shop, so they would still be getting the sale. I can even have the boots delivered right to the shop for pick up.

Who was bootfitting you at don thomas? If it wasnt adam or evan, ask for one of them next time. Anyway, i cant imagine to much of a difference between the 2 boots. Im guessing the 2012s are considerably cheaper as well.

not saying the spks a bad boot, but i hate mine. i get crazy shinbang. im looking forward to skiing in an old bumblebee pro and a x max 120 this yea! but if your local boot fitter says spk, then do it. as far as the boots, not sure there is much difference, expect ones this years, ones last years

I remember seeing somewhere that the 2012 SPK Pro was a 110 while the SPK was a 90. I could be wrong though. Can someone verify??

The Spk Pro from last season and SPK 100 from thisseason are pretty much the same, other then the flex. I had teh Pros at the start of last season then switched to the 100's in Febuary.

Overall there are vertially the same other then the softer flex and stronger buckles on the new ones.

I actually prefer the Pro's though as they are stiffer, I found teh 100 soft untill I got a Foam injection liner for them.

verall if the 100 fits you well then the pro's from last season will be fine too.

Make sure you get a custom footbed for them though makes a huge differnce.

Trying to quote tom^ up there but mobile sucks... So the 110 felt that much noticeably stiffer than the 100? What about the extra plastic they put in the front ankle/shin area on the 2013s, did that change any of the feel at all for flexpoints/hotspots?
