Rossignol Scimitar Help

So I am most likely going to purchase the scimitars this season. I am 5' 6". Do you think id be okay riding the 171 or should I get the 167? Also, are there any real differences between this years skis and last years?

With a rockered ski I advise going longer: I think the 171 cm would be perfect.

Not totally sure if I'm correct, but I think it's roughly the same rocker profile: basically no camber/flat for the entire ski.

I'm your height and I have the 178 in the black/orange model from last year I think. It really depends on what you're skiing, but probably go with the 174 (evo says it's 167, 174, 181 this year). Personally, I'd go up to the 181 cause I'd be using it more all mountain, but if it was mainly for park (in which case I wouldn't really go with this ski anyway) I'd go 174.

The reason I wouldn't use it as a park-specific ski is because I really think you want some camber skiing park, especially hitting bigger jumps. When you land, it's a lot easier to wash out with no camber, especially if you're back seat. They're a good ski for all-mountain, though, because having no camber is much more forgiving in choppy situations, and they carve well enough to hold their own on the hard pack.
