the software i installed to read the shutter count isn't working. i have had the camera for 14 months, it works great, and the only reason i am selling it is due to my next purchase of a fs700. im actually bummed about selling this, but i have no choice in order to make my next purchase.

$1000 is a very fair price.

Everyone on here seems to get caught up on the video aspect of DSLRs, when they are first and foremost still-photo cameras. And when it comes to photos, there aren't many better cameras than the 7D out there for the price -- I love mine for photos. I'm perfectly happy with the video as well, though I don't use it as much. It's a very versatile camera.
