Taking acid for the first time tonight

I got 5 tabs of lsd yesterday and I plan on taking them tonight but i need to know a few things first. 1. What is a good setting to trip in 2. How many tabs should I take 3. Anything else that might be helpful Sorry for any mistakes I'm making this thread on my phone.

Sorry but no. Flashbacks are a symptom of PTSD. The idea that you will randomly have flashbacks after doing psychedelics is complete BS, but if you experience a traumatic experience during a bad trip (which is really just an anxiety attack while tripping), you bet your ass you can have PTSD, and therefore flashbacks.

You're just being finicky. You know exactly the sense In which I was using flashback you little cock goblin. Of course you can have a PTSD "flashback" but you can get those from being at war and in a car accident too so it's not specific to acid. You and I both know I was referring to the traditional view of an acid flash back.

People claiming to have a "flashback" are referring to an actual visual hallucination or body high that is either neutral, good, or bad, but has been shown to be due to natural effects of different things on the body which was most commonly connected to slight dehydration.

You should clarify your point rather than assuming we're on the same page regarding some nebulous and bullshit myth. It was my understanding that most people think of a flashback as recurring sensations of the experience without taking the drug, which is what happens when you have a PTSD flashback.

Unless you're referring to the "crack my back and trip balls" thing that 12 year olds talk about, which I never even acknowledged in the first place.

lol different strokes for different strokes doesnt really apply here. it's simply false that it goes in your back etc etc, it's out of your body in like a few days. just not true. you can see or think something that is reminiscent of something youve seen while tripping but that's it

and like someone said, sure, if something fucking insane happens while you trip it would be possible to have PTSD which has flashbacks obviously.... but that's not gonna happen haha nothing comparable to war or a car accident is gonna happen if youre not a total retard

I wouldn't be so quick to downplay other people's experiences. While you may be healthy, some people simply should not be doing psychedelics. I don't doubt for a second that the wrong person taking LSD at the wrong time can be equally traumatic as a car accident in the very least, let alone something much worse.

ditto on the spine thing. If he had any basic understanding of what LSD is as a chemical he'd know that it's impossible for it to stay in your system. Any after effects are purely psychological.

OP, go to 420chan.org and then the Psychedelic bored. They can help you out, and won't give you shitty advice like some of the ass holes on here are. Also I recommend taking 2 tabs. That should be a good amount. Also go onto Erowid.org for a rediculous amount of info. Make sure you have a trip sitter if its your first time. Also, set and setting really is everything. Turn your phone off and stay around trusted friends and a calm, familiar enviroment. With LSD you are driving a car down one crazy fucking race track. With mushrooms your the passenger.

i know that lsd is stored in your spine, for instance the CIA will spinal tap future agents to test for substances and if you've taken lsd just once you'll fail, as for the cracking the back thing, I'm pretty skeptical, a friends friend was telling me that one time his old ass hippy dad was driving down the road and cracked his back, then immediately pulled over and told the kid to drive cuz he was tripping. not sure if its true, but i feel that if its stored in your spine and you take lots of lsd over the years, you probably have a good amount built up in your spine. i don't think anyone knows the real answer to that question though.

Acid is not stored in your spinal cord, so spinal taps won't show shit. The only way acid can be tested for is through a very specific UA for a very short period after ingesting it. So the whole cracking your back stuff is bullshit, i think people claim that that happens because they think it will, and through thinking that flashbacks will happen when you crack your back you make them happen. Mind over matter

Probably not.

First find a reputable source, second make sure they're legit. Find somebody that knows a thing or two and has eaten said doses or has tested them. Find out the ish of what they're mic'd at and what a good dosage might be. Figure out a good place to do them. Sitting at home on ns= not that much fun, hiking in the woods with some friends or seeing a none shitty band = awesome. Try to make a little bit of a plan. IF you don't know much about the world you want to leave yourself some outs. Not having to drive, not having to deal with parents, not doing it somewhere that you're anxious about, not doing it with shitty friends.


If it's print don't swallow it. Let it chill on your tongue for a while and absorb then spit it out. you can let it kick it for a pretty long time. Some of the ink can fuck with your stomach. If you swallow them you might be doing good and all the sudden feel very sick near your peak. If that happens no worries, drink water and chill. If you have to puke, puke. That's what you body needs. If you puke drink water and relax a little bit.

Don't eat a fuck ton. You can't switch of the trip because it's too intense. It's better to have it not be enough than have it be far too intense hours before the peak. Don't eat a bunch more because you haven't felt anything a half hour in. The worst in when you don't feel anything really, eat a bunch more, than soon after feel the firsts starting to kick in hard and realize you're going for a fucking ride. Buy the ticket, take the ride. If you eat them, you're going for a trip, go with it.

The trick was to surrender to the phlow. Just relax and let yourself twist and turn through the world that's opened before your eyes. Embrace it. The more you fight it the worse your experience will be. It's not like feeling sleepy where you just shake your head, throw some water on your face and your back to normal. LSD is a very powerful mind altering drug. It's powerful to the point where it can over power the effects of other drugs.

Watch how much you drink. You may notice you can drink like a phish once tripping. You seem to be superhuman to alcohol. While I generally enjoy some booze on the come up(not that I hate booze anytime) You need to be careful how much you drink. For instance, it's completely possible to drink 26 beers in a night and still be completely functional, then be alcohol poisoning need to go to the hospital mode sick and practically dying when you start to come down. You'll generally do alright with beer. It's much harder to drink far too much. Be careful not to chug a fuck ton of liquor, that can make things bad.

Watch how you store it. Leaving doses free floating in your wallet is not a good thing. Don't leave them sitting out in your car in the sun. Also be careful. LSD is illegal. Very illegal.


Bunk L, LSA, research chemicals aren't fun. Watch what you spend your money on.

Personal experiences from people who have had from that particular group of sheets or that sheet itself is much better though.

It's good to check things out but a lot of times won't really help you. Like checking for info on a pill on pillreports. You can find out what some similar ones have been, but it won't tell you a ton about yours. At least blotter varies more, but it's still no guarantee. A test kit is always nice to rule some shit out but most people don't have one.

It's still around, unfortunately the people most likely to be buying and selling the bad shit are the people who know the least about it. All the people taking "acid" at parties or whatever, buying it from that high school kid they get weed from.


I haven't tripped since july 3rd 2010 and I'm totally cool on that being the last time. Too much wild shit out there. Not worth it.

Hell there was even shit at a festival I was at this year people were taking 10 strips to get high. Then all the people getting down on rc's. I mean if the festivals/show scene is as fucked as it is, that means bad news for the markets most people acquire there party favors through.

My first real trip i just took one high potency tab and was good. The best thing to do is just like sit around outside preferable if its not to cold and listen to music. Of course being with friends is better and yes smoke weed while you trip. Obviously whoever said not to hasn't tried it. Final warning is that it keeps you up, so if you take it at night you could be up really really late. But its fucking awesome
