Modifying gopros

I'm pretty sure I've heard of people modifying their gopros so that they're less conspicuous and i'd like to do that. what would be the best approach? paint the inside of the case a dark color? any other ideas? let's hear em

painting the inside of the case would be cool. especially black. i would just use tape

doesnt really make it less conspicuous but you can cut up 3d glasses from the movies and put it inside the case lens. the 3d lens piece acts like a polarized filter so when you film in really bright light conditions the shots wont be so blown out. you can google tips on it. ive tried it once before and it definitely works. especially if youre using a go pro in places like mt hood in the summer or co where theres a lot of light and brightness.

dis-assemble a dslr lens, and tape the gopro to the inside of it

get an old broken gl1 or 2, pull it apart and mount the go pro on the front. everyone will think youre filming with a semi legit camera but its just a go pro. if nothing else it would be funny.

and Saga, the 3d lens piece sounds cool i'll definitely do some homework on it.

and to the other dude, yeah im thinking ill probably just paint the inside of the case black. ive seen a couple people do it and it seems like the best idea

I think 5% less douchey is an accurate estimate, 95% douchey is the minimum douchedom, depending on its mounted location of course

do you see any competition? where else are you going to buy pre-made go pro skins?

that's why they charge $25. I wonder how well those sell. It cant be too hard to steal their pattern and print your own stickers. An NS gopro skin could be really cool.
