Best Canon Film Lenses

Hey NS, I know there are other threads about this, but none really helped. I have a 60D with an 18-55 NON IS on it. I have heard mixed answers and just want a straight forward reply; What is the best Canon lens for filming skiing downhill, biking, tramping, etc.. Thanks for your time

Read the threads properly, they're tonnes of threads exactly the same as this one.

Rokinon 8mm (fisheye)
Tokina 11-16 (wide angle)
Tamaron 17-50 (medium range)
Canon 70-200 4L (tele photo)

Best setup for filming skiing imo.

you won't get a do-it-all lens, unfortunately.

What will you be doing most/first? Buy something that will meet your needs, and then get what you want when you can.

There is no 1 lens setup.

If you bought a DSLR you should have researched and had the money to spend before you jumped into it.

If you are going to buy any single one lens, it should be the 17-50.

Tripod, any lens (wide, tele, zoom, prime) not really much low light

Canon 24-105 4L IS

will give you a lot of range at the sacrifice of low light. But it's a great lens

if you can only get 1 lens right now, go with the 17-50 for sure, hasnt steered me wrong yet
