Hi there,
Im planning to go to Japan for a month and need some new skis! However Im thinking I probably want some skis that I can use in the future back in Europe as an allround ski (i have other park skis, so wouldnt use them for that).
So I've narrowed it down to some Bentchetler 192cm 2012 or Blog 185cm 2012 (£50 cheaper)
Mostly in the past Ive skied all mountain(30%) and park(60%), with the occassional powder day(10%)(depending on the snow in Europe). But now going to Japan, Im looking to ski powder (duh), trees and want a playful ski for some med drops/jumps (no big cliffs or charging), then more all mountain back in Europe. Im 165lbs, 5'11", 24 yrs, from the UK, advanced skier and I dont really want to spend more than £450 (hence looking at 2012 skis).
Obviously the Chetler would be better in the pow and the Blog better on the groomers. But which would make the biggest difference?
Other suggestions are welcome. Cheers.
