I like macklemore, but i feel like all his fans have the mindset where its like " OMG theres this great artist who isnt quite mainstream yet, i have to raise awareness of my exclusiveness by proclaiming how amazing he is"

Seriously, I've been waiting for this guy to blow up since 2009. Busts his ass and is an amazing storyteller. Im just getting pissed because all the fucking bro douchebags are gonna start listening to him now and hyping him up just because he's popular.

I know what you mean, it bugs me how because he isnt played on the radio everyone thinks he is still really underground so feel the need to make sure everyone knows they like this underground rapper by posting thriftshop on there wall.Like who cares whether or not what you listen to is mainstream, by no means do i have a hipsters ipod but i defiantly dont only have mainstream stuff but that doesnt make me feel the need to make sure everyone knows that i listen to this stuff that isnt on the radio. all in all though it is great album.
